So you got bombed too! 1st pic I think is a B-24 which a) my grandfather helped design and build the engine for at Detroit Diesel Allison, and b) later flew in during WWII. These birds were very sturdy, he was in 3 crash landings and sustained only a broken nose.

When we did Reforger in the mid 80's British Tornado pilots would come in very low and fly even more amazing stunts than this. So having said that, any pilot that has the testicular fortitude to fly through the mountains like this, deserves a big round of applause. Great Flying.
