I'm ready, when out at sea on my sailboat I get the same sense of being away and off the umbilical cords of societies infrastructure.....

      with today's tech, it would be cool to live in both Worlds... have the minimalist approach and live on a remote Island or in the wide open spaces of nature's back country. kinda like the Gilligan or Jeremiah Johnson effect, but still have that link, via satellite, to the rest of the World.

i too 'commune with nature' both in my professional and leisure time to a good extent. it can be a tough road doing without alot of the 'necesities' we think we need in life, but well worth the effort in the inner satisfaction we can achieve...
