    Im guessing its been feed be humans before....and the guy was alot calmer than I would be..call me crazy but something about wild coyotes approaching me makes me a little nervous

      Coyotes are relatively small on the K9 scale, and will never approach you unless they've been fed by humans as you've said or they have rabies.
